[Personality]

In a nutshell, Katherine McBride is an independent woman who knows exactly what she wants. She knows what direction she wants her life to head whether it be in her own personal life or in her career as an office manager for a local company, Bantam Suits. Although one would not call her a workaholic, she places her career above most things in her life. This goes to show that she really is a strong woman who works hard so that she may continue to support herself, and in turn Vincent who she doesn't exactly trust 100% when it comes to finances. Which also goes to say that she has a very take charge attitude. If there is something she wants done right, she will definitely do it herself.

When it comes to her personal life, she pushes for what she think she has to do and what she thinks is for the best. Even if her parents have been asking about her and Vincent's relationship status, she does seem to have a true desire to finally marry her boyfriend and raise a child with him. She may not be the affectionate type, seldom showing physical gestures or voicing out her feelings for Vincent, but she is still able to express herself in her own way. Her maternal instincts show on occasion with someone even mentioning (and mostly likely joking) that Katherine wound up in a relationship with Vincent because she felt that she couldn't leave someone like him alone. She also seems to like the fact that she may actually be pregnant with Vincent's child, a thought that was both wonderful and scary at the same time.

Despite her career driven attitude, there are still some moments when we truly see Katherine's kind side, even if it may come as a surprise to a few people. It would seem that she constantly nags and berates Vincent for his needless spending and for the his company's lack of compensation when he works overtime, but she does this because she truly cares for him and would like him to grow into a more responsible man as well. She even checks up on him constantly through cellphone calls and messages when they can't meet up on that day. This side of her personality also shows when she asks Vincent whether she should say hi to his "boss" even if she had not met the man before.

She is very frank and straightforward, speaking her mind without hesitation. By doing so, she doesn't expect any different from those she is speaking to. This goes to show how she is the type of person who doesn't want to dilly-dally on matters more than necessary. When her companions take too long in answering back or reply with vague remarks, her irritation shows and she makes sure that they know it as well.

With a very good head on her shoulders, Katherine presents herself as a woman who is at ease with who she is. Very little things seem to catch her of guard, and the player only sees two instances of this kind of behavior in game. One being when she kills Catherine in Vincent's dream on the eighth day, and when she breaks up with him afterwards, saying that she had known about the pregnancy earlier but chose not to tell Vincent immediately for fear of him leaving her to raise the child on her own. Besides those times, she seems very sure of herself and remains true to both her thoughts and emotions.
